We’re thrilled to announce that we are among the first businesses to be awarded the Small Business Sustainability Mark by Lincolnshire Chamber of Commerce.

Developed in partnership with the University of Lincoln, this innovative accreditation recognises small businesses making real, measurable progress on sustainability. It forms part of a wider Innovate UK-funded Knowledge Transfer Partnership, which aims to turn sustainability theory into practical, actionable plans for businesses across the region.

The accreditation’s accessible, yet thorough, framework has helped us assess our impact as we further embed environmental, social and governance principles into our operations. It assessed approaches that include:

• The careful and considered use of energy and water
• Reduce, reuse and recycle approaches, to support a circular economy
• Carbon footprint measurement and management
• Procurement strategies and the fair treatment of suppliers
• Charity engagement
• Employee wellbeing, support and satisfaction
• Strategic and sustainable management and reporting.

Sustainability isn’t just a checklist – it’s a mindset. It shapes how we innovate, grow, and engage with our community.

We were delighted to exceed the criteria for the Sustainability Mark, further building on the momentum from our recent win at the Northern Lincolnshire Business Awards, where we proudly took home the HETA Green Sustainability Award.

We’re excited to continue this journey and to collaborate with other forward-thinking businesses across Lincolnshire that are working to build a greener, more resilient economy.
