Making a positive difference – for 50 years

‘Positive difference’ is a phrase that’s stuck with Systematic for many years. It captures the added value that we seek to deliver, not just for our clients, team and suppliers, but for the wider community.

This ethos was championed by our founder, Nick Robey. You might have heard about his Christmas tradition which continues today, where each team member selects a charity close to their heart, and the business donates £100 to that cause on their behalf.

So, as we mark 50 years of Systematic it felt right to extend even more support to three incredible charities that we have links to.

We’d love to introduce you to them – perhaps you’ll feel inspired to get involved, or maybe they offer services that you or someone you know could benefit from. If we are lucky enough to count you amongst our clients, thank you, your support helps to make all this possible!

CatZero Humber

We’re a corporate partner of CatZero in 2025 – and we couldn’t be prouder.

A few months ago, most of our team had the opportunity to experience life aboard CatZero’s impressive 72-foot Challenge yacht. Its ‘category zero’ rating reflects the highest standards of safety, designed for self-sufficiency on long trans-oceanic voyages. While we didn’t sail beyond the Humber estuary, even this taster-sail took us beyond our comfort zones. We learned new skills, worked as a team, and discovered how much we had to rely on each other – a powerful reminder of what’s possible when you step up to a challenge.

The mission of CatZero is to give young people and families from the Humber region a unique opportunity to transform their lives. Through training courses and eight-day sailing excursions, participants develop confidence and break free from negative patterns – with life-changing results.

Lincolnshire Cares

Those of you who knew our former owner Chris Robey, will not be surprised to hear about his action against something that he felt was so profoundly wrong, loneliness and social isolation within the elderly. Chris championed a solution for our community, which with the hard work of many others too, has evolved into the charity Lincolnshire Cares.

Volunteer ‘befrienders’ provide friendship and support to members, who are typically over the age of 60. They are offered home visits and the opportunity to join events; weekly Coffee Morning which are currently hosted in Caistor and the surrounding village of North Kelsey, alongside other events such as the Summer Afternoon Tea.

We support the digital and printed marketing assets of the charity, with added IT and PR support, all with the intention of improving the engagement of reach of this transformative charity.

Naomi’s Garden

This amazing charity supports children and adults with movement disorders such as Cerebral Palsy, Parkinson’s, Multiple Sclerosis, and stroke victims – helping them embrace a different kind of life journey. It is a unique charity working across Lincolnshire and beyond, with a clear plan to extend their reach via a new centre in Louth, a professional and accessible hub for children and families.

We have initially directed our support through creativity and printed resources for their 2025 Fundraising Ball, which raised over £12,000 to support the creation of a permanent home for the charity. Our IT Director James is now a Trustee for the charity, and we hope that our links continue to flourish as we see the confidence, joy and hope that Naomi’s Garden brings to all who are involved in their work.
