2025 was a landmark year for Systematic and oodle: our golden 50th trading anniversary, alongside 25 years of creative excellence at our core. We marked these milestones not with fancy dinners or big speeches, but by celebrating the people who have made our journey possible – our team, clients, and community. Here’s a month-by-month look at how our anniversary year unfolded.
January: We walked our creative talk by kicking off the year with a golden corporate refresh by oodle. The team stayed in the headlines by becoming accredited to both the internationally recognised ISO 9001 quality standard and the Good Business Charter.

February: We set sail as corporate partners with CatZero, a charity transforming young lives and families in the Humber region through training and support aboard their 72-foot Challenge yacht.

March: Our team went ‘back to school’ – gin school, that is! In collaboration with Pin Gin, we crafted and tasted our unique gin, The Perfect Pear. Fifty limited-edition bottles carried our special anniversary labels and tags.

April: We embraced our love of paper for our spring newsletter, celebrating the tangible impact of print in 2025 with a throwback to 1975. We cranked up the nostalgia and rocked the looks and office vibes of the groovy ‘70s. Our debut as new members of Humber Marine and Renewables at Offshore Wind Connections proved that the bouffant hairstyles were thankfully a product of oodle’s imagination.

May: Mama Mia, May was quite a month as we had the honour of winning both the HETA Green Sustainability Award and the Forrester Boyd Business Excellence Award within the Northern Lincolnshire Business Awards 2025. It’s an inspiring forum organised by Hull & Humber Chamber of Commerce, with the support of headline sponsor Phillips 66. If you’re in the area, 2026 could be your year – go for it!

June: Having navigated many economic waves over the past 50 years, Humber Business Week was the perfect opportunity to collaborate in bringing the humor and insights of leading business commentator Justin Urqhart-Stewart to the region through an Economic Business Briefing.

July: This month we realised that some of the best networking happens when you get up and out of the office. We were ‘netwalking’ hosts at the legendary Cadwell Park circuit along with Forrester Boyd Chartered Accountants and Lincolnshire Chamber of Commerce, and loved every step.

August: Systematic’s founder Nick Robey stopped by for a catch-up and the No.1 bottle of gin!

September: We engaged with A New Narrative for Print, a key UK research project by our trade association highlighting the relevance, sustainability, and innovation of print in today’s omnichannel world.

October: We spent Lincolnshire Day on 1st in the good company of Team Lincolnshire, marking all that is great with business in our county, a theme that certainly resonated with the late Chris Robey, our leader for 24 years, on what would have been his birthday.

November: In the chill of November, we put on our new fluffy gilets and took off to exhibit at the Midlands Machinery Show. However the best-dressed prize came later in the month as Warehouse Manager Bob was the star of Forrester Boyd’s Christmas Quiz Night!

December: We closed the year as finalists in our industry awards, courtesy of the IPIA. It was welcome reinforcement that we’re doing good things, values that came into play as each member of our team chose a charity close to their heart, and we made a £100 donation in their name.

Our 50th was about people, purpose, and progress. Thank you for being part of our journey, we truly value your support.
