Love business? Then join us for the expo

Following on from our most successful trading year to date, we’re going to be showcasing the latest in sustainable corporate gifts at the Love Business Expo in Loughborough on Thursday 16th February 2023.

It’s fair to say that 2022 was bittersweet, with the very sad passing of our much-loved MD Chris Robey on a personal level, while on a professional level, our business exceeded the £4m turnover mark for the first time.

Building on our strong foundations, and the family values Chris and his wife and fellow MD Sharon have instilled in the company, we are embracing the opportunities that come with a new year. We’re very much looking forward to exhibiting at our first expo of 2023.

New innovations in promotional merchandise

We initially launched our handpicked range of sustainable corporate gifts in March last year but following a visit to Merchandise World in January, we have expanded our product lines and have added some exciting new innovations.

These include items to help recipients to have more sustainable lifestyles, such as thermal drinkware, as well as those made from recycled, recyclable or natural materials; from powerbanks made from recycled plastic bottles to sustainable paper notebooks and refillable or bamboo pens. Each product can be personalised with a message and brand, for bespoke, sustainable promotions.

We will also be giving away samples of eternal pencils, an innovative bamboo product with a metal and graphite nib that needs no sharpening, whilst outlasting around 150 normal pencils.

The other sample on offer is a spork, which supports the transition that we will all need to make away from single-use plastic cutlery when new legislation comes into force in the UK in October. This reusable item is a hybrid form of cutlery, combining a fork and spoon with a serrated edge and is made in the UK from revolutionary recycled polymers, treated with a biodegradable additive.

Demonstrating your company values

As you can probably tell we’re passionate about sustainability and responsible business practice which is part of our heritage and culture. We proactively measure and manage the impact of our operations to help us meet our goal of being carbon neutral by 2025.

We also recognise our responsibility in extending this commitment and knowledge to our clients, helping them to improve the sustainability across their branded promotions. Our focus is on targeted, bespoke, quality items that offer maximum brand impact for minimal environmental impact.

By specialising in sustainable products, we’ve managed to carve out a niche in the market as well as demonstrate our company values and offer our clients the opportunity to do the same. After all marketing is all about storytelling and taking customers on a journey, and recycled products are great at supporting this approach.

For example, you can add your brand and message to water bottles made from plastic that has been collected from our oceans and rivers, thereby helping to improve the health of our waterways. What better brand message is there than that?

Marketing more sustainably

As well as showcasing our sustainable promotional merchandise at the expo, we will also be talking to delegates about how they can be more sustainable in other areas of their marketing.

Being sustainable has the potential to add real value to your business – not least in terms of giving you an edge over your competitors. Many corporate leaders are becoming aware of the need to reuse and recycle, but there is often a big gap between knowing and doing.

Which is where we come in. We can apply our knowledge and resources to help our clients win business and do business more ethically, from making mailing campaigns more sustainable, efficient, and effective to sourcing sustainable paper stocks and fully recyclable packaging options. After all, you only get one chance to make a good first impression!
